The engineer in that horrific train crash this week says, through his lawyer, that he has no memory of the accident. He also says he was not intoxicated or using his cellphone at the time of the incident, according to an ABC News report this morning. The lawyer, Robert Goggin, said engineer Brandon Bostian suffered a concussion during the wreck and so far has no recollection of the circumstances or his own actions. The accident killed eight people, according to an updated count this morning.
“He remembers coming into curve. He remembers attempting to reduce speed and thereafter he was knocked out,” said Goggin.
