Enjoy your beloved iced latte this afternoon, because it's about to get more expensive, at least at Seattle's most famous coffee company. This is, one might say, one of the "blessings" of a booming local economy. KOMO reports that this comes at a time when other coffee companies are lowering prices because of future declines in unroasted coffee bean prices. Starbucks Corp. says that its expenses go beyond just coffee costs, and also include rent, labor, marketing and equipment. Food prices will stay the same.
