Mariners legend Edgar Martinez has joined the team as its new hitting coach, with much speculation that he’s there to help struggling star Robinson Cano. More likely, Stone says, Edgar’s first project will be weak-hitting catcher Mike Zunino. “The sky might not be falling,” Stone concludes, “but the storm clouds are gathering.”
