Two closed lanes on I-5 were still causing a backup late this morning, due to an accident. A car carrying four people crashed through a guardrail and over an embankment near mid-Boeing Field, KOMO News reports. Three of the four people in the car were seriously injured. At about 8:10 a.m., state troopers and medics responded to the reports of an accident. The backup stretched as far as seven miles.
