Get ready, beerocrats—the international Beeronomics Conference is coming to the states, and Seattle will be rolling out the welcome wagon. The conference—founded in 2009 and since held biennially—will be hosted by Washington State University at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel on September 8-9. This year’s program will explore the roles beer plays in fields such as economics and tourism. Read the PSBJ’s piece about Seattle’s biggest kegger ever here; no word on if there will be a ping pong table or Mario Kart to help with the festivities.
