Barbara Earl Thomas was moving full steam ahead on her upcoming exhibit for the Seattle Art Museum when the coronavirus pandemic put everything to a halt. Continuing to work alone, and eventually with a couple of assistants, Thomas continues to expand upon a lifelong journey of revelatory art exploring constructs of race and lessons from chaos and upheaval.
