North Thurston shooter had "anger and hatred" in his eyes

KOMO News has further details on the Monday incident in which a 16-year-old student fired two shots inside North Thurston High School. Student Taylor Haverson witnessed the shooting and had seen the boy earlier that morning. She commented saying "His facial expression is something I'll never forget ... The anger and hatred in his eyes, the way he just looked at me, and I've never met him before.”

The alleged gunman is being detained at the Thurston County Juvenile Detention Center and is under investigation for a number of weapons charges. The boy spoke with detectives and indicated that he had no intention to hurt anyone. The identity of the boy will not be released due to his age.
