NPR has the inside news on the pope, who is excited about a three-country tour of South America. It all started Sunday in Quito, Ecuador, with a crowd of thousands swarming the Popemobile. The plan is for Pope Francis, making a return to his home continent, to reach out to some of the poorest people in the region, including indigenous communities, by speaking in Spanish and local languages. Next up: Bolivia and Paraguay.
