            <p>After nine months, 15 stores along Seattle's waterfront are ready to reopen today. The businesses, including Ivar's, Elliott's Oyster House, Happy Salmon and Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, agreed to close in October so the city could replace its deteriorating seawall. During the closure, the city paid each business up to $15 million to make up for lost revenue, according to <a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/seattle/blog/2015/06/after-9-months-seattles-waterfront-businesses-are.html?ref=avalancheghost.one">Puget Sound Business Journal</a>. The seawall isn't completely finished yet, but the stores are eager to open their doors at the height of the summer tourism season– good news if you're in need of your fish n' chips fix!</p>
