What she's wearing: a super hero T

Super casual day for me called for a super hero T-shirt. The weather was decent, and I wanted to help with "field day" at my daughter's school. I also frantically picked up my house so I could host an impromptu "hurray for summer" cake treat after school with seven of my daughter's buds and parents.

Nineteen months ago, I wrote a blog post about "personalizing fashion." This Wonder Woman T-shirt is one of my favorite examples. I loved Wonder Woman when I was a girl and enjoy the tongue in cheek reference to me being Wonder Woman now (without the hot pants and, alas, no golden lasso or invisible plane). I also love that it isn't black. I have to work hard to inject color into my wardrobe, since I almost always want to default to black. It is a little stretched out and I think this might be its last season before it's too tired to carry on. I started looking last year for a replacement, but didn't like the other designs I found as much as this one. I'll try again this year.
